Balham Blazers Youth Football Club was founded in 2001 and is based in Balham, South West London. The Blazers train at Lambeth Academy School, Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Common.
Balham Blazers started with one Under 10 age group team in The London Saturday Youth Football League in 2001/02. Following on from their success more age group teams have been added. This coming season 2007/08 the club will have three age group teams playing in the Tandridge League and will also have an Under 9 training squad who will be playing League football the following season. The Blazers age group teams have all been high achieving to date winning or being runners up in 44 League and Cup competitions in their first 6 seasons.
The ethos of the club is simple: to have fun and develop individually and collectively as footballers within a group dynamic, playing good football with good technique and with consideration and respect for those you are playing with and against.
