History

Balham Balham Blazers Youth Football Club was founded in 2001 and is based in Balham, South West London. The Blazers train at Chestnut Grove School and Tooting Bec Athletics Track.

Balham Blazers started with one Under 10 age group team in the London Saturday Youth Football League in 2001/02. Following on from their success more age group teams have gradually been added. Last season the club had five teams playing competitive football. This coming season 2009/10 the club will have eight, three playing in the Tandridge League and five playing in the London Saturday Youth Football League. The Blazers age group teams have all been high achieving to date winning or being runners up in 69 League and Cup competitions in their first eight seasons.

The ethos of the club is simple: to have fun and develop individually and collectively as footballers within a group dynamic, playing good football with good technique and with consideration and respect for those you are playing with and against.
