Saturday 13th December

U10 Eagles V Lambeth All Stars 1-3 (League)
U10 Colts V Broomwood 6-0 (League)

It will remain one of the great mysteries of our time as to why last weeks matches were postponed but this weeks weren't. In the two matches The Eagles battled valiantly sadly losing 3-1 to top team Lambeth All Stars. The Eagles having taken an early lead in the match conceded later on leaving the match finely balanced at half time 1-1. Lambeth proved better at taking their chances in the second half and rolled out winners 3-1.

The weather worsened for The Colts match. Frank stepped in for the absent Tall Theo and played really well. William kept a clean sheet as The Colts put 6 past Broomwood. Ollie H started the proceedings scoring 2, Lewis scored a hat-trick and Jamie A found the back of the net after a nice passing move.

To say both teams showed huge commitment would be an understatement.

Saturday 29th November
U10 Eagles V Stockwell, (League)
Stockwell FC conceded match to the Eagles
U10 Colts V Dulwich Park 5-0 (League) AWAY

The Colts played an away fixture versus Dulwich Park Lions FC. One of the best first half performances of the season saw Ollie H score a lovely shot after some relentless pressure. Lewis scored his customary hat trick and by the end of the half 4-0 was a fair reflection of our efforts. The second half saw a number of substitutions, George D, Ralph and Frank all playing their part in absorbing a lot of pressure. Jamie A finished a great team performance off with a run the length of the pitch and a confident finish. 5-0 to the Blazer Colts.

The Eagles competition, Stockwell FC, conceded the match after they were let down by a number of their team.

U13 V Monotype FC (League) [AWAY]

Match Cancelled

Saturday 22nd November
U10 Eagles V BEC Utd 2-1 (QF Cup)

U10 Colts V NO GAME
[An excellent result for the Eagles. Having gone a goal behind we were all square by the end of the first half and Charlie Appleton's excellent finish in the second gave us the lead and victory in a game that had we won 4-1 nobody would have been surprised. We are one game away from our first Final. Not bad for our first season of competitive football.]

Sunday 16th November
U16 V Junior Sports 4-5 (League)
U15 V Melwood FC 3-1 (League) [AWAY]
U13 V Coney Hall 1-4
(League) [AWAY]

Saturday 15th November
U10 Eagles V Lusitanos 3-0 (League)

U10 Colts V Bethwin B 3-1 (League)
[Back to winning ways with The Colts this weekend beating Bethwin B 3 -1. Lewis back to his scoring ways snatching a hat-trick after great wing play by Jamie A and Ollie H. Tall Theo and Smaller than Taller Theo played great football keeping it tight in Midfield and at the back. The Eagles continued the pressure at the top by beating Lusitanos 3-0 albeit without their keeper the score could have been in double figures.]

Sunday 9th November
U16 V Croydon Juniors 2-2 (League) [AWAY]
U15 V Chipstead FC 4-3 (League)
U13 V No Game

Saturday 8th November
U10 Eagles V AFC Wandsworth 7-1 (League)

U10 Colts V Bethwin B 0-1 (League)
[A reversal of fortunes from last weeks results. The Eagles played majestically knocking 7 past AFC Wandsworth in a 7-1 victory. The Colts played with a little less passion and energy losing 1-0 to Bethwin B.]

Sunday 2nd November
U16 V Addington Palace 3-1 (Cup)
U15 V No Game
U13 V Coney Hall 4-8
(Cup)

Saturday 1st November
U10 Eagles V Lambeth All Stars 1-2 (League)

U10 Colts V Bethwin B 6-3 (League)
[The colts won a fiercely competitive and entertaining game versus Bethwin B. Lewis grabbed a hatrick, Theo Chaudoir scored two fantastic goals and Jamie A settled a few nerves at 3-3 to lead us to a 6-3 victory. Sadly the eagles, having gone 1-0 up lost to a late winner versus Lambeth All Stars, losing 2-1. A very tight game, one where we shall bench mark our progress in the home leg.]

Saturday 18th October
U10 Colts V Fitz Rovers 2-1 (League)
U10 Eagles V Fitz Athletic 1-4 (League)
[
Mixed fortunes today. Colts beat Fitz Rovers but Eagles lost to Fitz Athletic. Fitz Athletic are the team to beat as I gather we are! We'll have to keep working hard to make sure that on the return match we don't allow a repeat. It's personal.]

U13 V Selsdon FC 2-3 (League)

Saturday 11th October
U10 Colts V Dulwich Park 6-1 (League)
U10 Eagles V Clapham Park Ranger 2-1 (League)
[
Colts Jamie A's goal in our 6-1 win over Dulwich is a contender for goal of the season. Every one contributed to a very entertaining match. The Colts are currently top with a 5 point advantage. The Eagles continued their winning ways proving that you can come back having conceded early on. Excellent Individual effort from Jamie P. The Eagles are second, 2 points behind Fitz 4 Kids athletic]
